Quaker Ridge Executive Staff
Larry and Melody Money
 Larry
Money is our Executive Director and his wife, Melody, is
our Executive Chef. They came to Quaker Ridge in the
spring of 2000; moving here from Florida where Melody was a chef
at an exclusive yachting and golf community and ran
her own catering business.
Larry owned a
Dressage & Hunter-Jumper
horse training and show barn and has used that experience
to run the horse program here. A native of Michigan,
Larry spent 15 years moving around the country as a professional
musician before settling down in Florida and getting
into the horse business full time in 1995. Melody, a rare
native
Floridian, has spent most of her life in the hospitality
industry and has an Executive Chef Certification from the
American Culinary Federation.
Larry & Melody
were youth staff volunteers at their church in Florida and first
discovered their
dream for a Christian
camping ministry while doing some horseback camping through
the Colorado and Canadian Rockies on their extended
honeymoon in 1994.
