Clark Lodge

Quaker Ridge's newest facility is its most deluxe. The lodge's 12 private hotel style rooms are each equipped with a full bath and 2 queen size log beds and pine dressers. Located in the heart of the camp, the lodge is a favorite for couples retreats, men's & women's retreats and other adult camps.

The lower floor of Clark is called "Old Quaker Mine". It is reminiscent of an historical mine shaft and the decor fits the era of the Colorado gold rush of the late 1800's. The upper floor is called "Wilderness Trail" and reminds you of being at a rustic ski lodge complete with snow shoes hung on the wall just waiting for you to hit the trails.

Clark Lodge sleeps 24 guests (double occupancy) comfortably with additional mattresses available to increase the over-flow capacity to 42. Bedding and linens are not supplied during the summer camping season, but are available the rest of the year.

"Little Bear" mountain lodge apartment

Quaker Ridge offers this one-bedroom/one bath 2nd floor lodge style efficiency apartment with a fireplace. Little Bear features a kitchenette with a microwave, coffee maker and a mini-fridge. A full size log bed, a rustic leather sofa and pine furniture complete the cozy decor. Little Bear is perfect for housing your group's guest speaker, an intimate weekend for 2 or the honeymoon couple. We also make Little Bear available, as a courtesy, to those involved in a ministry for use as a personal, quiet "get away" retreat.

Chapel

Built in 1952 of rough sawn timbers on a foundation of granite rocks from the surrounding mountains and featuring two huge stone fireplaces, the Chapel at Quaker Ridge will be the focal point of your ministry time here. Seating capacity is 275 but the chairs can be quickly cleared away to leave plenty of room for skits, breakout groups, games, etc. The stage is large enough to accommodate a full size worship band and has complete stage lighting control from the sound and light booth in the back of the room. Provided is a 4 speaker public address system for vocal reinforcement and audio for the Multimedia projector system. Two smaller breakout rooms on either side of the stage provide a place for snacks and coffee or for your speaker and/or worship team to rest and prepare. The south wall is full of windows to show off a one of a kind view of Pikes Peak while the west side faces our Reflection Pond surrounded by benches and lanterns for those times of quiet meditation.

Fireside Room

The Fireside Room is just the right size for your smaller meetings. It's located just off the deck in Clark Lodge with amazing views of the snow capped mountains and a toasty stone fireplace to warm you up. The Fireside Room seats 40 (less if tables are required) and offers beverage & snack service for an additional charge.

"The Frying Pan Café"

Many folks like to sneer at what they call "camp food". Our American Culinary Federation Certified Executive Chef, Melody Money, has a favorite saying, "It doesn't have to be "camp food"!" And this philosophy shows in the quality of the food she serves our guests. No flash frozen, pre-cooked, microwaved mystery meals here. Melody's dishes are hand made from only the freshest and best ingredients available. Like her famous southern style buttermilk biscuits and sawmill gravy for breakfast, to her smoked turkey wrap and Ancho chicken chowder lunches, to her roasted chicken breast in a mustard cream sauce with lavender scented rice pilaf dinner, her passion for cooking shows in every meal we serve. Her creative flair also shows up in the many "Theme Night" suppers she and her staff enjoy putting on such as "Boot's 'n' BBQ" night, "Mexican Fiesta", "50's Sock Hop Supper" and "Soup or Hero (Super Hero) Costume Night". And to appeal to the bold and adventuresome diner this summer, we are offering our "EAT IT BEFORE IT EATS YOU!" Extreme Cuisine bar featuring a fearsome array of appetizers such as "Rattlesnake Bite", "Squid Sticks", "Mountain Oysters" and "Loogey Shooters". At Quaker Ridge, "camp food" is fun AND delicious!

Fox, Penn and Barclay Cabin

These cabins are some of the first rustic log cabins that were built here on the property in the 1950's and still hold their charm from the early days of "church camp". These cabins offer a more rustic style of camping where you feel as though you are a pioneer. Fox and Penn cabins sleep 24 campers each, while Barclay cabin sleeps 16. There is a bathroom and shower house located just out the door.
